EVERYTHANG FYEBOY is more than just the title of a project from Fire Boy Records recording artist FyeBoy – A title of respect earned the hard way in Daytona’s unforgiving streets, only to rise out of the rubble an entrepreneur of 4 businesses, and CEO of his own Fire Boy Record label.
FyeBoy rose from being a major promoter in the Florida hip hop scene, to becoming one of the Core Dj’s top 10 Indie Artists to watch for in 2010. The unstoppable breakthrough mixtape iGrind, iHustle, from the Fire Boy Records movie of the same name, generated attention from major labels, Hip Hop aficionados and Florida natives to take notice of the FyeBoy movement.
The hit title track from “iGrind, iHustle” was featured on AllHipHop.com’s July Massacre mixtape alongside such artists as Akon, Wiz Kahlifah, Roscoe Dash, Drake, and Busta Rhymes. A cosign from Hot 97.fm’s Funk Master Flex and a 2011 Urban Visions Film Award for the single “Runnin’” would only staple FyeBoy’s staying power within the industry.
Setting out on his own Regional tour FyeBoy shut down stages beside some of the games biggest names like Rick Ross and Maybach Music, Young Jeezy, MGK, Durrough, Ace Hood, Pretty Ricky, Souljah Boy, R. Kelly, as well as veteran MC and new Cash Money Records signee Mystikal.
FyeBoy’s first project Florida Montana was widely supported by radio DJ’s with the single “Love To Smoke” featuring Fire Boy Records artists Sticks, Michael Stokes, and Supa Gutta. The video for Love To Smoke has been added to top blogs and websites domestic and abroad, receiving over 100,000+ hits, and notoriety from magazines and fans of all kinds.
